Revival M•07 — Curated Companion™ Revival Edition

Description

This male Chihuahua was born on 3 February 2025. He is long-haired, silky, with a clean black nose and dark eyes that give nothing away. If you didn’t know what happened in the crate he arrived in, you would never guess he was the one causing all the trouble inside it.

He was shipped in the same crate as another Revival dog — a larger male — and he spent the trip growling at him, biting at him, even mounting him. In that crate world of two dogs, he was the one controlling space. But the moment the other dog was removed and the human world opened, the roles reversed instantly.

He did not come out of the crate. Not at all. He stayed inside, silent now, unsure, refusing food, refusing water, refusing the idea that the world outside belonged to him. And that is the strange part — how dogs behave toward each other means nothing about how they behave toward humans. To the larger dog, he was force and pressure. To the human world, he is uncertain, stalled, and trying to understand what rules apply.

When he finally stepped out — on his own — he slipped straight into another dog’s crate because the door was open. It happened to be the crate of the shut-down long-haired male (Revival M•03). Within seconds he was trying to hump him too, displaced behaviour in a dog who has never lived beyond walls.

And yet, toward humans he is almost the opposite. No growling. No snapping. No collapse. Just neutrality — a calm, unreadable stillness. He licks at food in the hand now, tentatively, as if trying to convince himself that this new world is real. Personality, for him, is still forming; right now, he is made of scattered clues and nothing finished.

A dog who looked powerful in confinement but stands unsure on the outside — a creature learning, for the first time, that the rules have changed.

Revival Story

This dog is one of seven Chihuahuas in the Curated Companion™ Revival Edition. All under one year old.

They were not raised as pets. They received no handling, no socialization, no exposure, and no preparation for real life. They lived in breeder kennels with zero human processing and zero environmental learning.

Once the early sale window closed and new litters came in, these dogs were simply left in cages — untouched, untrained, and completely unprepared for normal daily living.

No structure. No learning. No contact. Just confinement.

Trained for Life™ removed them from that static existence and placed them into a structured system designed to give them a functional starting point for an actual home.

Temperament & Behaviour

Intake reality:

  • In transport crate: growling, biting, and mounting the other dog
  • After the other dog was removed: refused to exit the crate
  • Still not reliably taking food; only small licks during hand-feeding
  • Refused water at intake
  • Ran into another dog’s crate immediately when freed; attempted humping again
  • No growling or snapping toward humans
  • No shutdown collapse; instead shows avoidance and uncertainty
  • Neutral body language with humans — observant but not confident

Early training observations:

  • Beginning to lick food from the hand
  • More stable around humans than around dogs
  • No defensive aggression toward humans
  • Pack-driven behaviours expressed only toward other dogs in confinement

Ongoing monitoring:

  • Food acceptance and willingness to eat consistently
  • Response to controlled human approach
  • Behaviour around dogs once structure replaces confinement
  • Ability to tolerate handling and grooming
  • Environmental exposure and confidence-building

Training — Revival Program Foundations

Revival dogs complete foundational training within the Trained for Life™ system. This program is not about formal obedience; it is about functional integration from zero.

  • Precision Leash™ groundwork from a blank starting point
  • Early exposure to the Invisible Leash™ concept
  • Playpen structure for clean, predictable confinement
  • Designated indoor potty routine
  • Handling tolerance work (touch and movement in controlled steps)
  • Grooming exposure (touch, basic tools, controlled restraint)
  • Interrupting unwanted behaviours and redirecting into structure
  • Environmental training introduced in controlled increments
  • Safe carrying protocols specific to small-breed handling

He progresses at his own pace. All updates are based on what actually happens, not on targets or promises.

Health & Veterinary Screening

Final examination before placement: coming soon

Vaccinations, parasite control, and any recommended diagnostics will be documented and shared with the buyer exactly as recorded by the veterinarian.
